Outing Day 2

Well, i promised to bring them out, but never kept my promise cuz i always thought itz a pain to bring both out, but bring one then it seems unfair to the other, so always ended up not bringing.

Finally, i am on leave, so, decided to bring them out.. Left the girl with my mum and sis after the visit to the chinese doc at Golden Landmark Shopping Centre. Anyway, the shopping center really resemble Upper Serangoon Shopping Centre. And the boys like the old water fountian thats stops and starts suddenly. Ha.. itz quite fun to see how children sometimes gets attracted to simple things.

We went to Bugis first, intending to let them play with some toys at the toy's department. But in the end they were stucked at the Wall E computer game thingy, for the the whole half an hour, before we proceed to city hall to meet ap.

When we reach penisula, ap went to change her Spyder thingy, and i brought the boys down to the foodcourt to buy a drink for myself. Daven says he wanna Da Bian.. and he urgently need to.. So i quickly bring him to a search of a toilet. In the end we found it, and he proceed with his business. When he said he is done, i saw hmm.. that ermm.. some shit was still dangling from his .. erm.. body. so i asked him if he is really done, cuz i really can still see some hanging. I asked him to use strength to "squeeze" them out. To break them.. but.. he say's nothing liao. So no choice... i had to do it lo.. cuz itz really doned, but cuz he erm.. he produced a quite big piece of it, and left some stucked.. so no choice.. i had to clean it for him. ha. ok. After that Dylan also wanna do the same.. haiz. lucky thing is his is much less messy.

Brought them Raffles City Robinsons and then to Suntec ToysRus after that. I promised to buy them a toy each as long as itz not too expensive. So they had a hard time choosing. Ha. Dave complain say "U never let us choose one!" "Everything also too expensive...." haha. funny. i was abit soft hearted and almost bought them a 30$ tranformers, but Dylan doesnt wan that. So in the end, a Hot Wheels car for each, nothing for mei mei. haha. Well, they seem to like their car (dylan) and motorbike (Dave) alot.

After a coffee break at Wang Jiao, we went arcade, i played my recently addicted game, the basketball game, the boys joined me also. haha. After that, had a long walk back to Cityhall, with the boys complaining and wanting me to carry them. Went to Bishan in a squeezy train, then to Da Zhi Ran to for dinner with family, where i keep falling asleep. haha.

Overall, a happy and tiring outing. haha

Outings

After the youth camp, i had a 2 days outing. One was yesterday, out with harold to change the size to me&ap's xmas gift, the Doraemon T shirt / polo, then at night met Ryu at orchard to shop for his stuff. Second was today, brought the boys out on an outing with ap, at bugis, penisula, suntec, then up to bishan for dinner with their mum, my mum and dad.

Had a trip down to Chinatown Point to meet harold at 3pm, after we changed the shirts (which was actually in a cool dora shop with some other dvd's etc for sale), we went to a shop at Pearl Center to alter his newly bought pants, . There, we had dessert while waiting for his express alter. Interestingly, we talked abt reincarnation, rights of animals and insects, whether should i be reincarnated into a pig next life, will i still remember that i was a human b4 in my past life. I use to think that the animal will remember, cuz in that case then he/it will know that he has done wrong in his past life thats y he becomes a pig. But thinking slightly more deeply, i think it might not be the case. Cuz since we as humans do not know anything abt our past lifes, y should animals do? Okay, if i do not know that i use to be a human in my past life, and i am a pig now, then comes the question on the brains thingy, will i (the pig) know that humans are better off then me and i am a class lower and am the unfortunate ones that need to be slaughtered? If the anwser is "no", then, well, seems like nothing matters anymore isn't it? 2nd thing is do animals know that they are "alive"? I think yes, at least i know they feel the pain when they are slaughtered. And i think they sure hv brains, and they communicate, maybe not like how they do it in Bolt, but sure they communicate, and they hv feelings (emotions), and if they communicate and hv feelings, then definately, they know they are alive. But sorry there are not much rights for them. I mean, yes, u might get jailed if u kill a dog, or torture a cat, but, yup, u can eat chickens without getting jailed. Thats the irony part. But thats what the world is all abt. 弱肉强食. I mean i also am part of this, cuz i eat eggs, which are produced by the poor chickens in the cages.

Okay, enough of this Side B tracks. Anyway, after that went simlim to see computers. Then after that met Ryu. Went shop for his stuff, his friend's stuff, b4 that went kino, where i for the first time, looked thru thoroughly the comics on the shelf cuz i thought i wanna find a new comic to read. There was one comic on Dogs, the cover has 3 dogs, hmm drawing is like quite old school, the amazing thing is, itz episode 52 and 53 on the shelf. Wow.. i mean u can hv comics on 3 dogs gg up to number 53... phew... anyway, did not buy that. Something caught my eye. 结界师. Up to episode 15 liao. I saw that it has those special edition that explains the story, so i thought maybe it might be good. But, too bad, no number 1. So i had to give it up for last night. But, today, i went back to kino at bugis, and got the comic. Itz good! i like it. Itz abit like Fullmetal Alchemist (鋼の錬金術師). Quite funny also. My type. good man, finally found a comic to collect again.

Yeah, thats abt it, one thing worth mentioning is outside the male toilet, i saw an uncle who deserves a Mega Mac. Cuz he was holding his wife's handbag. I was tempted to give him the thumbs up sign. But well, after that i think i deserved a MegaMac too. cuz i pratically held all of Ryu's stuff while he was in G2 Black Label trying out his new pants and shirt.

Okay, thats all for today, will talk abt today tommrow. Itz been a great day out with the boys and ap. I was shaged out cuz i was hving flu also. Keep falling asleep at the KopiTiam during dinner. Will talk abt the boy's backside experience next round. Ciao

Pixey Piggy INVEST

Finally, itz out.

Issue Dec. Well, this cover is not easy k, lots of work from Ashton. Pixel Art. The idea behind it is like SIM City, portraying the creating of an investment portfolio as building a virtual city in the virtual world, itz got to hv the right stuff to be the right city, and yr very own "city". Alots of stuff, read it yrself.

Okay, the cover was done by Ashton, but mind u, the human beings are done by me. The car was a last min stuff. Okay, itz really not easy, so gotta give Ash thumbs up. My humans can barely pass the pixel art standard i guess.

Rushed the mag out in really like a week. Not easy. i was tensed up badly cuz i wanna meet the deadly deadline. Been in a bad mood so over that few days, had some smalll "clashes" with some colleagues. Bo bian, the stress is quite big this time, cant really manage it. But at least i manage to send for print on time.

Inbetween this hell of rushing out the mag, i took time to do up 3 Little Pigs. Spent like a day doing this. Itz Harold's crappy idea, but I did not let it slip and thought itz a great idea, so this is the output.

Well, now the tough period's over, gg to start on the next issue very soon.

Weather is good these days, hot at noon but cool at night. Came to TPY today, now at Ya Kun writing this. Gonna fetch mum later from 249.

The Series Phenomenon

It always happens.

When u read or see or learn abt a new word, a brand or anything, this new thingy will appear infront of u again the next day, then, maybe yr friend will mention tat new word or thingy. Say if today is the first time i heard abt the US brand The Gap. The next day, i will pass by this shop in Vivo, seeing the retail shop for the first time in my life. Then, in the next day, maybe my other friend will tell me he just bought a gift for his bf and it is a The Gap shirt. etc etc.

It happen again, i was reading a comic by Slam Dunk author, the comic is Real. Itz abt diabled ppl basketball (briefly speaking, but itz more than that). So there was a guy in this comic who suffered from some muscle dieases, such tat he will from being in the wheelchair, to being bedridden, to say in a year, he will not be even able to lift even a ball. Something like Morrie in the book Tuesdays with Morrie.

Okay, then today, i wasing at my sis house reading My Paper, and i read abt this man from HK, now in SG, he has this similar diesease also, where he knows in a short period, he will be wheelchair bound, and so on... sad.

Then i came home, on my laptop, wanna save some stuff, then saw on Yahoo! News.. MediaCorp's Chew Chor Meng is suffering from this disease.. Muscular dystrophy (MD).

Well.. what can I say. Itz sad reading the comic, knowing abt this disease.. then see on papers, saw real faces, saw photos of ppl suffering from it, then now, knowing some celebrity also suffers from this.

The next day I was at AP home, happen to see this TV commercial of a program, i think a reality program abt a handicapped couple, they were playing tennis and the wheelchair they are sitting in is jus the same as the ones i saw in Real.

I mean this kinda things always happens, u never heard of this one thingy b4 in yr whole life, and after u hear it the first time, u see it again and again for the next few days. Interesting.

Wide Angle Fetish

Recently spent abt 600$ on a 2nd hand lens. Tokina Wide Angle lens - 12mm. Digital has this crop factor of 1.5, therefore itz a 12 x 1.5 mm lens. Still considered wide angle. I got it extensively used in my Malaysia trip (Genting Highlights & KL) last weekend, and it turned out interesting. Colors are quite nice and i quite like the wide angle results. In the end, my 50mm stayed in the camera bag for the 4days.

Wide angle lens are normally not used for portraiture as it causes some certain extents of distortions to the human being's features, depending on how near the being is to the lens. The nearer, the greater the distortions. The thin face becomes fatter, the fat, needless to say, become, hmm, well, bigger. t depends on the angle the portrait is taken from also. shooting downwards, the head is big, the body is small, shooting upwards, vice versa.

Still, I managed to get some volunteers for to be in this experiment. First on the queue is Mr NeoBooBoo

Finally, itz Mr Monk I met in KL, below KLCC (Twin Tower), i had to donate RM2 for this shot, but i guess besides getting this photo, it also earned me some merit points for my next life.

Recovered

Finally.. recover from virus blues.. internet back to normal. it has been a very sianz 2 weeks. not tat i cannot live without internet, but it is quite difficult to do work from home without proper network. Searching for images for references has become such a pain when i got network proms.

Okay, like to hv an errata,

In the previous blog posts, we mentioned that the internet proms faced by booboo was cuz by his service provider. This has been found to be untrue, we are sorry for the inconvenience caused but we do like to use this chance to condemn Trojan. "Damn U Trojan!! To hell with u!"

I will be posting some photos of my Genting trip very soon. Meanwhile, i got to be busy with INVEST for this few days (yes, itz sat sun and mon, a holiday) cuz we are behind time liao.

Hot and Cold Sunday Noon

To surf using the Singtel Mobile Broadband, i hv to connect and disconnect everytime i am trying to load a page. This is so nice.

Here I am in Mac at Jurong West with AP, itz very cold here now that we shifted to the corner of the restaurant. I guess we asked for it. We came here purposely to run away from the super heaty and humid weather. Itz almost unbearable, fan also no use. So we came here to Mac.

Yes! AP's sneezing! we succeeded liao...

I was suppose to do more on INVEST today, but, cuz of internet prom, alot of things i cant really do as i need to research on stuff b4 i can really start, but, still, i know i wasted alot of time writing letter to julie and posting here etc.

Anyway, the youngsters are playing basketball outside the mac under the hot sun. Reminds me of the days i had in Sec 3, play basketball sooo freq. And always soo like real, like i am gg to be a basketball player in future like tat. Hahaha.. now i look at them, i know, deep inside each and everyone of them (most la), they think they are gg to be a star next time. But, well, itz good to hv dreams when u are young, dream on dudes, and all the best. (they are still playing ball behind my back now.)

Julie's Love Letters

Dear Julie,

I read with interest Ryu and SX's letters to you. I can't deny my first impressions of u is only images of rolls of biscuits that tastes of either strawberry or cocoa, flashbacks of CNY and my company's pantry also appeared, but, all these years, I never knew u could read letters, gosh. Now that i know that u do read the letters written to you (though u dun reply), i thought i could write to you too, why not?

Itz been busy days recently, i got work crushing on me, like i mentioned in my blog earlier on, AR pitchings had been killing me. Now that SI Guide is uploaded for color proofs, I hv to work on INVEST again else my editor is starting to get annoyed that I hv been neglecting his work and only working on ARs. Never did he know that i myself hv no choice, if given one, i would work on INVEST. The revamp of the mag i planned is like so far away now that all my precious time is eaten like grass being eaten by grasshoppers working on AR mockups.

Economy dun seem to good too, i am not an economist nor do I read "The Economist", but i do know that there are pay cuts, retrenchments gg around, and therefore, some of my evil plans to ***edited to protect myself*** hv to be held back.

Well, I hv to mention that the bad global finance is also creating more theives also. There are theives even in resorts of sentosa! Can u believe this? We were hving a meeting there, and the ladies left their bags in the room during lunch after being assured that the room will be locked when we leave. Who on gaia will know that there exist a theive that opens their bags, fishes out 50$ notes, leaving handphones untouched, leaving some money behind to keep the victim confused on the actual amount of money they brought with them. Anyway, a report was lodged, i dun think they can catch anyone, but at least, it creates some awareness, and i am sure that is the last time our company is gg there for a meeting.

Hmm, as u know, i got a 金田一 in me, and i cant help but play detective, i suspect the theive is the person who is suppose to lock the door. Cuz, he could conveniently lock the door while he (or she, am never a sexist) get all the money he wants, then, leave the room locking it from outside normally again. In that case, anyone coming back inbetween lunch could not be able to walk into the room while he is at "work". What do you think? Having said these, i hv no time to stay back to help the police inspectors as they were still on their way when i had to leave the resort to go back to my more impt issues waiting for me in the office.

I had a nice sat yesterday. Auntie Number 2 came to our house on fri night, and stayed over. The next day, mum need to pray Ah Gong, so she had to be busy cooking, and sis and stan went for class, therefore, i got up at 815am to go over to over see the boys and gal, who, had already started their gaming escapades (jus the boys, the gal was lying behind watching them). After awhile, Dacia decided to leave the room and on the dvd Chicken Little. I watched abit with her, after which we went over to my house again, and from there, brought Dylan to his last 2nd music lesson in TM. Ya, i feel sad that he is giving up on his piano talents. He seem like he is ready to be a good pianist if he carry on, but well, guess his parents do not want to force something on him also. Still, i feel it was abit painful to stop.

Before lunch at home, i settled my singnet prom (itz wasnt really settled), i called them after finding out that 1626 could actually infact reach a human, by going into 3 or 4 "Others". Hmm, hv to mention i was nasty to a guy on the line, but i do not feel guilty at all, he told he he hv to hang up cuz he need to answer another call. I guess u would hv been nasty also if it was u in my shoes right?

The best part was after this. I had lunch, and, fell asleep (not on the lunch table), and when i woke up (inbetween, ryu called to tell me some good news but my response was not as good cuz i was half asleep), Wow... it was sooo cool, rain was lashing outside the window, cool wind coming in, and Dacia (my 3 yr old niece, before u harbour any wild thoughts) just woken up and was lying beside me. I mean i slept for near 3 hrs, and i woke up to such nice weather.. and itz a sat noon, how cool is that right? and i fell asleep again with Dacia, and woke up at 5pm. From there, had my dinner, and after that, I planned to go anywhere for coffee, b4 gg to 456 to pass the car to my dad and sis, then, go up to AP's home to overnight. In my car in the carpark, i was still pondering on where to go for coffee when i thought maybe i could go up woodlands find GL? then i thought of ryu, and remembered that my response to his good news was abit not as good cuz of my mental condition when he called, so i thought maybe i could go his area for coffee b4 gg up to jurong. He was happy that i called because he was gg to bookin and he had not had dinner yet. Therefore, my driving down means 3 things, 1. nice dinner outside; 2. chitchat session; 3. another free ride to somewhere nearby to facilitate his booking in; Well, i was glad i could help and we did hv a nice session catching up on his great news, on movies, on white tiger issues, on the music industry, lame christian names of asian artistes, on investing, and on blog issues. This was infact y i am writing to you now.

Okay, I am currently in AP's home, we had breakfast this morning with her parents, we were "forced" to join her relatives at the kopi tiam and i had to sit back facing the TV missing my Doraemon. Itz actuallty ok, i mean i dun really watch Dora properly nowadays, but being able to watch it at a kopi tiam seems nice also. Nevermind that.

Itz November, Guns & Roses are launching their new album this Nov end. I am not listening to November Rain but i still like tat song alot also.

Itz been a year and i am starting to miss Hokkaido after a year. Really, i am starting to recall the weather there, the snow falling when me and ap was on the streets in a small town there. I miss the public sauna baths, the outdoor one esp, when the snow fall and melts before hitting the hot water, my face feeling the cold air while my body soaks in the more than warm water. Have u been there also? If not, u might like to talk to yr boss, he could hv u sold there in the stores. Hmm, dun be too hopeful though, cuz I understand that Hokkaido is mroe famous to produce their own Chocolate and beer and therefore might not be keen on products like you. But do give it a try if u like what I described and wanna be there yrself too.

In replacment of Hokkaido, we are gg up Genting for a cool holiday this coming weekend. AP's exams are ending soon and she will be a grad mid next year. This will put an end to her tedious study life and maybe bring her back to boring working life she's been complaining abt before her degree course.

Hmm, this is my first letter to you and i do hope i am not boring you. Do hv a Merry Xmas yrself and hope u will enjoy being munched at during this festive season just like before.

Saving Gaia

An article designed for INVEST Issue Oct/Nov.

I take great interest in designing this article, first try failed, was trying to draw Gaia (mother earth) embracing the earth, but did not turn out good. Started to reference some mags for ideas, then saw a stock image of a globe in the company's library, so got this idea to do something like this. Hmm, i do not hv a name for this kind of design, but i guess i saw it somewhere b4, but itz definately not copied, itz my own work. the bushes are actually part of a picture of a tree. I searched for alot of images thru the net, and cropped them out, blending them into the globe, it was a satisfying piece of work, i was calling it "我的完美世界" when i was working on it, but after that, i decide to make the other half of it "lifeless", so to amplify the idea of "Saving". I had fun looking for photos of animals, thinking of what animal to add, talking to myself, and my colleagues giving inputs on what animals i can add. Over all, not alot of animals, but it was fun. (wanted to add whales actually, haha).

Working on these stuffs keeps me going man. Here's the final layout design in INVEST. One of my favs.

Pigeon Meal at Orchard

Hv u ever had a meal with a pigeon? Was it enjoyable? I had one b4, in Orchard, hmm, it might hv been a better experience if Mr Pi was less arrogant. Also, i did not arrange to meet him, it was impromptu (not sure correct to use this word here not).

Okay, itz on my birthday when this happens 4th Sept 19 year not impt (hope itz not too early to remind u of this). Anyway, itz my 30th birthday. yup, 30th.

Was gg for the presentation course near Orchard, so had to be there quite early, and it was my birthday so decide to eat hotcakes to celebrate (not serious). It seems like a nice morning to be eating hotcakes at Mac and to hv it outdoors seem an even more nicer idea. Erm, not tat i hv any choice, that Mac no indoor one.

So, found a nice seat, start to eat, there were pigeons flying around on the pavements, itz really a nice sight, u know, like the getting closer to nature kinda feeling? So, maybe Mr Pi sense that and decided to join me. He flew to my table, stood on it right opposite me. Hmm, how do i put it, i am not scared of pigeons as i am of cockroaches, but, when u get a pigeon standing on yr table so near u (itz a very small round table), u won know how to react also right? I wanted to shoo it away, but i was quite reluctant to touch it. So i sort of stared at it for 5 secs, not knowing what to do. And, guess wat, Mr Pi starts to look around, intenting to feed himself to my breakfast, looking at which one he wanted to share with me.

U might not believe me, but i could see from his eyes that he was the arrogant type, i mean wat pigeon would look around the table, selecting what to eat, with a human jus less than 5ocm infront of him? or it? I recover from this culture shock and use my human hands to shoo it away before he could share my food. So he flapped his great wings and flew off back to the pavement i guess.

Wah, nice right? to hv him flap his wings above yr food? Bo pian, i dun wanna waste it, so i continue with my hotcakes (yup, still hot), after 5mins, Mr Pi came back, i not sure if it is still him or not, but my sixth sense tell me it is. He did the same, stood infront of me. Twitching his head around, selecting with food to pick from my menu.

Really, i felt like flipping the table on him but resisted. But in short, I shooed him away again, he flapped his wings again, to whereever he came from.

Okay, that was it. i could not carry on anymore, i walked off after that, leaving my hotcakes and coffee for Mr Pi. I hope he go back to the table after i left, dun waste the food. But, in my mind at that point of time, i wished i brought my shotgun along with me. (those they use to shoot birds in the HDB parks u know?)

So much for hotcakes for birthdays. So much for outdoor meals also.

Death

What is it after death? That's everyone's questions. I always feel that the day i close my eyes for good, I will know what it is, whether there is there God? Heaven? Hell? .. though i wont be able to tell u from there, and, even if i can tell u what it is over the other side, would u hv believed me? U might doubt me, so i guess everyone will hv to wait for that very day, then, he or she will know.

Anyway, from my own humble analogy, there are 4 possibilities after death.

1. Darkness/Nothing
   
2. Confusion
3. The One Truth
4. Land of Beliefs

1. Darkness/Nothing - Jus like in what it is for 月 the manga Deathnote, Total darkness, Nothing. Blank. But, believing in this would mean doing good and doing bad when alife makes no difference. But having said that, believing in this possibility doesnt mean u hv to be a bad guy. Being good to ppl is not neccessary because u are scared that if u dun be good, u will burn in hell or wat. it should be from the heart.(Disclaimer: i dun mean i am someone good from the heart).

Okay, since this option is Nothing, then there is apparently nothing i can eleborate. Lets move on.

2. Confusion - There is something, but, too bad, you still dun know wat the truth is. Itz jus like being human, except u are a ghost instead, u can float, scare ppl, go thru walls, dun feel hungry, or eat candles. But, u jus still dun know the Truth! hah. so just can stay around, searching for the truth, or, waiting for the truth to come fetch u back.

3. The One Truth - Yup, this One Truth meaning, no matter which religion u belong to, there is only one kind of God. Say if the One Truth is that Buddha is the real God, then even if u die as a Christian, u will hv to face it, say hello to Buddha and make friends forever with him (haha). And of course, this would mean that there is probaly heaven and hell, so good luck to u (and me). And this would mean also that u will hv to live for eternity over there, unless, of course if it happens to be a Buddha Truth, u might hv to be reincarnating into pigs or dogs or humans, and carry on the cycle to see whats up in the next next century (depending on how long yr stay in hell is also).

4. Land of Belief - This is something i thought i might be right abt. U go to where u believe in. But yr believe must be strong. If not, maybe u go into option one after death (Darkness/Nothing, since that was wat u believe in mah..) In this option, after death, if u are a faithful Christian, u will go to heaven, u will live peacefully there. If u are a buddhist, u will go meet Buddha and all the other 佛s there. Hmm.. but, say if u belive in everything abit (abit like my case), then i guess lets hope for the best. it might be meet all the Gods session (if i am a faithful beliver in all), or, it might be a total mess(if all i feel i believe, but still hv alot of doubts). ha.

Why do I say i might be right abt this 4th option? Cuz, i always hv this feeling that miracles happens on ppl who really believes, who are really faithful to what they believed in. So, meaning, u believe in what, the what will be there for u (to save yr life, to help u). Okay, typed out all these, this option is starting to be clearer to me. This option means that there are Countries of Believes up there. Meaning, u go to the "country" that u believed when u are alive. I hope i am not confusing you.

Okay, so if it is not the first possibility, then, be prepared, cuz, any of the other 3 would mean that there is life after death, life as in might not be human form, could be spirit or wat. So, be prepared to lead an either fun and exciting, torturous etc life there, or, be prepared for to spend yr eternity there. Hmm.. cannot imagine, how do u spend eternities? Any experiences to share? haha... Probaly there might be PSPs there? Is there still sex differences? If there is, is there gg to be sex? Do u hv to work there? Oh no. i dun think i should carry one, cuz it would mean no difference to when one is alive. haha.

Okay, abit off the topic, i watched Doraemon, there is one story that got me pondering before, Nobita (大雄) once, with Dora's help, created a galaxy of his, with a whole new set of solar system, and therefore, with one planet that is like Earth. Of course, time there moves very fast, and therefore Nobita dun hv to wait long before there is life on that earth like planet. After life, sea animals start to appear, then, land animals, then humans, then humans evolve, then cities are built. So, meaning? Nobita is God of that earth like planet.

Okay, till now u might hv got wat i am trying to say, i was thinking, (i know this is showing disrespect to God out there but, jus thinking la... dun so serious leh) are we just one of the creations of some kids out there doing school projects? That means we are the creations, mockups of some future kids! hahaha... and, someone like Nobita created us, and we are worshipping him!! Gosh! haha.. Thats was his experience. Creative? ya, i thought so, but, if 12 secs is gg to be repeatedly played, which 12 secs will u choose? also, is the replay gg to be conscious? or unconsciously? if it is coucious, then i guess no matter how great that 12 secs is, u better choose something more subtle, else, nothing will be as great if u were to be consciously replaying it right?

Some extracts i read from First Mag, in the issue of Dark Knight. Abt Heroes and Villains (reminds me of a composition i wrote abt Heroes and Villains in Sec 3, i think i wrote abt Batman also).

Under Heroes, James Bond (Daniel Craig) caught my eye - Words to Live by : "Do I look like I give a damn?" , waoh... damn attitude right. Good one james.

Under Villains, a few caught my eyes -

Anyway, this sentence is also a sentence that can be correct and can be wrong. think abt it yrself. 4 pop corns for this line.

Inspector Lau Kin Ming (Andy Lau in Internal Affairs), Bad Words: "I wanna turn over a new leaf" Wahhahahah.. thumbs up for First, fancy picking this line. hahah. damn sacarstic. Good job.

Ju-on's mum (in the movie Ju-on, her real name is not necessary i guess), Bad words : "Ggggggggaaaaaaahhhh" , hmm... now u know y it caught my eyes.

Pixel Gal's 25th BD in Picity

Well, itz ap's birthday so AS (no extra s'es please) used the last 1hr b4 her BD to do her a pixel gal, hmm, quite unimpressed, cuz i tried to use a pixel gal from habo hotel as reference, but in the end, end up not very good, no chioce, too last min... haha. but she got a special DJ version happy birthday song from mms (together with this pixel gal.) and, also, a Aldo pink bag, yes, do look out for this bag the next time u walk on the streets in jurong, it might be ap holding it.

Watched Madagascar last night with her, itz the funniest animation since Shrek.. damn funny.. love it. yah, i jus learn a new term, lmao - laugh my ass off.

Yup, there might be some songs here that u should be quite familiar with from this album, but would like to highlight Track 09, a collaboration with MC Hot Dog and 侯佩岑. yup, itz her, i could not believe my eyes actually, to see her name. Ha, but i thought she done it nicely. This song has bery sad lyrics. It makes the sad sadder, so, itz not recommended for the broken heart, or the heart broken, or the breaken hearts, or, the broked hearteds. Do listen to it when u hv time.

自在Asam Fishes

There is something about Zi Zai Asam fish.. itz the asam curry? or, is it the zi cai at the edges, the like real fish taste? Otherwise, y would i hv eaten it for 2 suppers consecutively? somemore, today, my bro ordered it also, so it is 2 bowls. Anyway, itz nice, probably gg back again tommrow night.

Jus now went with Mum and Bro, then sit there chat till 2310 like tat. I make it a point to company mum when i hv sometime, cuz sometimes hv time i also wanna do my own things, but now i do try to company her, so jus now her 2 nice sons bring her out for supper, dad is in malaysia so cant join, and in the end, we let mum complain abt him.

Last night is meet the Tong Tong night, ryu had the pleasure to meet him. Or maybe we should say itz Tong Tong Chat Chat night. I am the moderator. Ryu did use this chance to ask him some questions about his child in his tummy, on when he gg to grad, and find out abt his job scope. I guess itz better than meeting the PM right ryu?

After that i got conned into driving him(ryu) home. Damn.

Doraemon New TV Series!!

New series! It must hv been out in Japan long time ago.. happen to see it on youtube.. bery nice!!!

This one is a remake a the story where Nobita (Da Xiong) had a fight with Dora and Dora went back to the future. Then Nobita recalled the first day when Dora came to his room.

I wanna look for the story abt Dora's last day with Nobita.

This series is from the same production that did the 大雄与恐龙 movie. I love it, they make dora very very cute and funny. Expressions and all. And itz based on the current times. as in not in the 1980s no more. Hmm, i am ok with this, it gives a new taste to the stories instead of make one that only drawing is different. But i wont mind if it is still based on the old times, cuz thats interesting to me also. The music loops are also different liao. very nice one also. And, the background animation or drawings are very nice also, abit like water color pencil kinda of thing.

There's alot more to watch! too bad no subtitles or chinese ones..

A Thursday at Cecil Street

The Entrance to my company's building -

Yes, this is the one, the main entrance to our building, hope u did not miss it the last time u wanna come find me for lunch. This is not the back stage of the Ge Tai, this is the entrance to the Dapenso Building. Anway, itz business as usual for the BNI, as stated on the banner.

Been tolerating this area for half year liao lo.. the whole Cecil Street is like a big construction. Our building is like between a earthquake zone. Air is so good, air con is not working too fine, sand and stones, hacking and drilling, great place to work. Ya, they increasing the rents so i am glad to announce that we would be moving out by May next year, to where? hope not kallang, Bugis i dun mind, Tampines is nice too.

Jus reach home from work at 1030pm plus, working on Su*vi* mockup.. lucky manage to come up with something at last. Went for dinner with edwin at Hans again. We talk abt army and i recall that one of the xmas, 36 was arrowed to deco the hall and the camp with xmas decos, so we had to make a big plywood mountain on the stage of the hall, and, also a big camo net xmas tree held by a antenna mask jacked up. i remember cursing and swearing abt the nonsene of it all, but now, come to think of it, itz fun and funny, and memorable, we also recall the bunk days (not same time with edwin la, but i guess same feel we all remember), how I use to watch TV with my mates, like ah teck, minghui, ah chew, Loh, and tong tong. 2000 zhi lian, the jap drama at the milliean year. Taiwan hong bu rang, etc. Lights off we still watch in the dark, haha.

Anyway, harold brought back the epson surf floats from jason's car, he looked damn cool in his long-sleeved shirt, holding 2 rubber surf floats. After that, when we gg down for the cab, it was still raining, so we use the float as shelther, quite funny.

Mum did a clean up for my room, bery paisay, must treat her meal, dad and her threw away the bed frame liao, so now i lying on Ti Lam only, she clean up the radio shelve, which was ... er... i think quite badly dirty i guess, she also clean up my cabinet.

Oh ya, my new shoes are nice, few commented itz not bad, and everyone on the streets turn to look at my shoes when i walk pass them, then bus drivers slow down to look at it, passengers in mrts press the emergency button to stop the train, force open the doors to ask me when i bought it, for how much, etc, magazines start to feature it in their lifestyle sections... etc etc.. haiz, only a new pair of shoes mah...

Introducing Mr Pix, he likes blue, has small eyes, and lives in Picity.

Went to Hans for my dinner jus now, cuz the table i picked is bery wobbly, so i changed a table. After eating awhile, I noticed i was facing a couple (okay, not sure if they are, but should be). It was a ang mo guy and a china gal, the ang mo sitting bery closely to her, and seems to be demostrating some beat box thingy. I felt rather awkward to be facing them from a next table, but i hv to realise that the real awkwardness came when the ang mo gave the gal a bery passionate hug, long one (both still sitting on the Hans chair, quite amazing, come to think of it) Then, angmo kissed gal, wah, so i was like reading my book, and half watching the whole thing.. haha.

Okay, the above is no big deal to me, jus that i happen to be sitting opposite them, eating fried rice that it became a slightly more worth writing event.

This coming monday is pubic holiday, but, i hv something on in my house (u know wat la.. ) so, therefore, and, it sort of spoils the long weekend. but, neber mind, so be it.

i have decided to throw away (do away) with my Ikea wooden bed frame with the consents of my parents, they are quite supportive (suprisingly). Why? cuz the whole bed is starting to defeat it purposes. Okay, it still let me sleep on it, but, itz starting to look aesthetically not tat nice, why? cuz, after sleeping on it for a few months, the "ti lam" start to sink, the wooden frame below has itz pranks bery wide apart, and, when i sleep, i will feel the "holes" that seperated the pranks, so, very uncomformy, so, dad, being kind hearted, bring in wooden pranks, those flat ones to put below the Ti Lam, which solves the prom, but, creating another, the pranks he brought in are too big, so they jut out, so can see them, like bery ugly, so, defeat the purpose right? cuz the reason y i bought the bed in is to give my room a better look mah, but now, dun look good liao, so, to salvage this, i decided to throw away this wooden frame, keep the Ti Lum, put it on the floor, sleep on it, and maybe buy a new quilt to lay on the Ti Lam to make it look nicer, which means i need to buy new covers, that dun look so lousy like the ones i bought last rounds, which means i hv to spend more money. Oh ya, btw, i got myself a new G2000 jeans/pants thingy jus now. 30% discount.

Bought 'Esquire' jus now at Times Tampines Mall, the UK version is of David Craig (or itz Craig David) but i decided to go for sexy halle berry. Super cool design, halle berry's expression also very cool. And look at the text layouted behind, cool also right. Open up the page and u see BillClinton, he was on Esquire's past cover also, wearing a blue tie, the idea behind is that Halle Berry is a powerful women, jus like Bill.

Over the weekend, i bought 2 long selve shirts and a short selve one (G2000), and a pair of pedro at Anchor Point. Went with edwin and harold, the prices there are good, thats y i bought so many at one go. Then jus now went to TM, almost bought G2000 again.... ha, pants and long selve, but, after trying, did not buy, cuz thought spent too much liao.

Dora

This is a Doraemon i drew from one of the series. This is the more old dora, as in the earlier one. Fatter, dumber, cuter. Ok, he's not smiling in this one, but still damn cute. I like this earlier version of dora quite alot. The drawing of dora in middle of the series is what i like best, but the earlier one is bery cute. I am thinking of buying the model of this fat dora from one of the toy shops in suntec, but, 70$, not v cheap. And my birthday is abt one year from now.
