It happened again!

This has happened to me a couple of times. Like, I learn of a new word, or maybe a new thing, which I hv never heard of before that, and that word will be appearing in front of me for the next few days, either in print, or from someone else's mouth.

So day before yesterday, I was reading Esquire, and the word 'sitcom' appeared, I looked up dictionary dot com, and found out for the first time in my life that it mean situation comedy (and not a department short like marcom). Then, yesterday I was reading 8 Days, and that word started appearing like 3 times in 2 articles. Then... today, during my newbie orientation session, the speaker showed a slide that explains what is sitcom.

Haha.. so, it happened, again. The New Word Phenomena..

Nostalgic

Dug out some old cds while mopping floor. And I found a cd I burnt during my army or palin days inside this matchbox 20min album.. super! I am surprised that there are so many songs that I can't remember.. itz really a waste that we forget so many things that we liked in the past..

That said, I am so glad I found this cd inside this cd case

How many people from different walks of life had walked passed since I started sitting here?

Re-reading Qi ling wang is really an amazing thing. I am really happy that ah loh brought that comic to bunk 10years back.

A helping hand

Saw an blind old man on my way to lunch, I walked passed him with some hesitation to help, but decided otherwise as I thought he should know where he is gg.

Upon second thoughts, I turn around and saw him walking slanted towards a drop down kerb. So I went back to ask him if he needed help. He says yes and offers to give me a cigarette. Haha.

Happens his destination is jus across the road at Furama, so I chatted abit and brought him to the shop he wants to.

It felt good helping someone in need, same time, I felt fortunate that unlike him, I can see.

Almost Supernatural

It must be supernatural.. last week, 11 Jan, after the diasastrous photoshoot, the magazine was jus 20 percent done. All the boxes on the pagination still looked v nice, no crosses and stike throughs. I was still shaking my head internally at my boss when he mentioned "we are uploading next week right?"

Then I think there was some forces or something... miraclously, I did up the rest of the 80% in 9 days. And, best part was, not much OTs at all.

I really dun know how this happened really.

A midnight dip

Funny incident last night. I was down with flu these few days, so as usual, last night, I stuck a piece of toilet roll into my right nose, then went to sleep.

Midnight, i woke up and needed to drink some water, forgetting that the piece of tissue is still sticking out of my nose, I tipped my head down to drink from the cup. So what happen was the tissue was dipped in and the whole stick became wet. And I removed it and continued to drink the water after that.

Those nothing big, the idea that this happened seems funny.
