Yes, since the age i grew up mentally, i understood that clouds are not like spongy stuff that u can jump on like the clouds in Doraemon. I been in a plane b4, i know they are jus vapour in this white looking half liquid half solid smokey form. But still, i hv to see it myself, so we planned a 4 Days 3 Nights trip up to Genting Highlands, with one day in KL. Okay, up up and above. The trip was not bad, time passes fast. Booked the tickets thru 5 Star Travel, thru this blur intern gal who misses out all the impt details and did not pass me the most impt stuffs. Cant forget the look she given me when i asked wat i thought was the most decent and valid questions any decent client would ask. The look was like those sympathic teary look that says "poor boy... y are u asking such a stupid question?" kinda look. Ya. Look who's the one who should be giving that look in the end. I almost ticked her off when i went back to collect the document she was supposed to give me on the day i purchased the tickets. Anyway, no sorrys from her, but she should be glad she did not give me that look again, else i think i will pounce on her.

6. Bus Rides>> Okay, back to the clouds. Yes, when the bus was gg up, i saw that the route was actually quite safe. No dangerous cliff edge kinda stuff that i always imagined when i think of gg up to Genting. Yes, i admit. I use to think itz very dangerous to go up Genting Highlands. On the slopes, we start to see these white smokey thingys that i believe are what condensation of water.. When we alight the bus, the air felt very good.. cool, reminds me of when i stepped out of the airport in Tokyo last winter with ap, the air outside was cool also, okay, alot lot more cooler. It was cold in Tokyo. But yup, i liked the air up in Genting, hmm, but standing beside the bus, can smell some carbon monoxide la, so not tat good, so we went in to try locate First World Hotel.

Genting Bus Interchange>> On entry, i called sis, cuz she also up there with Stan and the children, i couldnt wait to find them and shock the children, i prepared my cam to snapped their pictures when i see them. Haha.. We finally found the foodcourt where they were hving lunch. The best part of this trip is there is a vege stall in the foodcourt of First World Hotel! and, the super best part is, it is not any lousy cannot make it kinda vege food, itz super not bad ones. So we had all our meals there. And yes, i am contented though i am not a contender. Okay, the children had their lunch and yeah, they are gg home lo, was their last day there, the boys wanna stay with us, but u know la.. not possible. haha. but they were so sweet to wanna stay right? ooo... haha. Mei Mei was best, when we went down with them, we wanna go check in, they wanna go home, we say goodbye, and this mei mei, keep turning back to wave goodbye. Like after a few more steps, she will turn back, haha. such a cuteee gal..

>> Checking in was a real pain in the a**... our number was like dun know 100 numbers away or wat, so we were told we need to wait 45mins plus, so we went up to foodcourt for lunch first. Okay, after checking in, i had a small horror.. the hotel room... though not haunted, seem like a cell to me.. small small tv... no tv remote... reception super cannot make it... yah yah.. got cable.. ya.. but might as well dun hv lor.. then, window is the best.. opening window got nice cool air coming in like aircon, but, but.. see outside is a piece of wall.. yup. Nothing else. Piece of wall. Sounds like a cell to u? Bathroom... wow... no shower gel given, but no worries... there is still a round round soap cake. Then bath, hmm, no shelf around u. No worries, u can always put the soap cake on the floor after use. Yup, else no where to put mah. So, in short, the bath room cant make it. The room cant make it, except for sleeping, dun really wanna stay inside the room. The plan was to shop and play the indoor themepark this day, then the outdoor themepark the next day. Okay, we went around the Indoor Themepark, got ppl screaming here and there cuz there is a coaster around inside. We choose not to get the day entry kinda tickets cuz the indoor themepark is more designed for children so no point wasting money on that. Only 2 stuff we tried, the coaster, and the bumper car. The queue was long, but still bearable, well, itz a fri, so more ppl.. should hv come on a weekday man.

The Railway Boat, there are tracks below.>> Coaster ride was nothing much actually, as in the indoor one, not scary, jus "throw" u abit when doing the turns, and very short.. one round and tats it. Then bumper car is jus for fun, so no comments except was quite a wait also. Basically thats all lo. But still, First World Hotel seem more fun la. lots of shop around and we spent the half day shopping around and at night, we went to the SnowWorld.. wow... with grey looking ice kacang on the floor, and a slide, and some ice house kinda thing lo. Hmm, really nothing fantastic, could hv give it a miss, but worth mentioning is, itz real cold inside. U can wear slippers and bermudas in, cuz they lend u all the gloves and shoes and all. But, i would not wear bermudas lo. so cold. The time inside is short. and the closes even b4 the time is up. But, u get to hv a small ice cream per ticket. Hmm, itz too cold inside for us, so we came out to eat. They even sell 3-in-1 kopi outside. Was tempted but thought not v worth it. haha. We also went to the casino. No gambling, and i also dun know how to gamble man, confuses stupid ppl like me. But i jus wanna go see see. Supirsingly, police did not ask me for IC. I thought they always see me as 19 year old student. Anyway was abit disappointed, cuz itz not the grand high ceiling casinos i see in 赌神 and also nothing like the ones in 珊瑚岛. Alot of smoke though, not fires la, smokers. We went one round, and see ppl playing, blah blah.. then got this small canteen kinda thing there, and.. got.. free kopi and orange juices! hah. nice nice.

Top: One Night in Genting..The next day was Themepark day. We went for breakfast in the Big Canteen, which was suppose to be a complimentary breakfast by the hotel. Hmm.. one of the lousier ones i had. Itz like a big tuckshop. ALOT, yes, ALOT of ppl...
After eating at the canteen, we went into the Themepark near 11am i think, wahhh.. CLOUDY lo... cant see one. haha. then rain abit also. The ticket attendend say if rain they won compensate one. We went walk walk, then i saw Cyclone.. wow.. like quite scary kinda coaster ride. Manage to persuade ap. Before we decided, it started to rain abit, so the queue dispersed alot. We quickly join in from there, saved quite some time. haha. The ride was quite scary, at the 2 dips that is. After that walked around, saw this Corkscrew (wat a name right?) got 360 twist one.. so i was abit scared also. And somemore, long long queue.. thats a good reason not to try also. They other one i think like rocket one, dun know actual name, wah, that one scary, go up high high... then drop. Never try also, but too scary for me. And there is this turn turn turn turn turn thingy tat GY showed us years back,i saw it and confirmed tat i dun wanna play tat. cuz i sure vomit one. turn like dunknow 20 30 rounds like tat (yes, we counted while in another queue). What else we tried? The Ferris Wheel, but i think abit for kids one la.. not v high, but then itz built on a hill there, so quite good view at top.
Wanted to try the wat Go Cart, but in the queue, i observed... and observed... how come these go carts going at such a bloody slow speed huh... like super boring leh.. and convinced ap tat the sentosa one in sg was much better.. so we left the queue. Lucky we did, cuz back here, a few others told me they tried it and itz damn bo liao. Like 10km per hr. Wah.. nice... how fast....
After that we went to take Cable Car.. wow.. to go down hill.. cuz free ride mah.. free tickets from hotel i think cuz we booked in a peak period. Okay, actually the cable car ride can be very boring... took quite sometime down, first part is in clouds.. cant even tell if moving lo.. abit scary, cuz we thought itz jammed or wat. Then got this funny ghostly gal in the cablecar with us. She alone lor! can u imagine not. Then me and ap like so arkward.. wah.. like when we dun talk, so silent.. then when we talk, also feel v weird, cuz really those very silent feeling inside, then her back view to me is like ghost lor! Anyway, back to the ride, itz abit scary to me, cuz when in these rides, i keep thinking what if the cables snap, we will fall.. eeeks. Cuz itz such a long ride, gives me alot of time to imagine..
Fiinaally... we reached.. downthere, itz really nothing... lucky lucky.. there is this small Zoo.. got "weird" animals inside, cost abt 10S$ per pax i think. Not bad! inside quite alot to see (for me la) snakes.. spiders... weird fishes... frogs.. roosters.. etc etc. Not bad la, i mean better then gg thru the stupid ride and doing nothing right? Okay.. after that.,... itz the ride back up... arrrgg!! same same.. in between, i started to imagine again... lucky tahan till the top.
We went for lunch, then go back themepark play play, then hear FIR in the indoor concert hall, but door close we outside la. Cant hear them rehersing inside. The whole day was cloudy lor, then suddenly the clouds will disappear, then come back again and so on... we play nothing much liao la. cuz eitehr long queue, or we dun dare play.
At night, i wanna take some photos, night scene of the park, but the weather damn cold!! The weather was too cloudy, cant take any thing.. abit disappointed, cuz wanna take the theme park from inside. After we left the themepark, the clouds start to go off, so manage to take some photos of First World Hotel. After that we went to the "kbox". Sing inside a box kinda thing. Ha. arcade type. Need to buy the arcade cards first. Mike super lousy one la.. but ha. any how scream till no voice. ha. ok la. still fun.
Back to the arcade, i went to play the basketball game, which b4 this, cuz i stupid, first time play, i insert the card to a machine that has no balls, thinking the balls come out from somewhere one. haha. so this time round, found a machine with balls, from then, i come back sg keep playing the basketball game in arcade. hahah.
Back to the hotel, we walk walk at corridor.. then see this old lady sitting outside a room... near our room... there was someone beside her, like security guard like tat.. then when i walk pass her, she like look at me.. scary... wats up man.. y she sitting outside her room? Itz we are the only ones who can see her?? eeee... then we found out, she says her husband is inside the room, say he dun dare open room cuz inside got a china mistress. Well, i am not sure if itz true la.. anyway, i very auntie.. i open door abit to eavesdrop her conversation with the PR lady. Then i send ap out to take water from the hot water cooler, and at the same time, she must collect some data on the old women when she come back. Okay, after that i stay near room door to collect some data also. haha. seow.. btw, the hot water cooler kana sai.. inside room nothing to make hotwater, then outside hotwater also not hot.. so make kopi also cannot make it.. make maggie mee.. also... cannot!! i eat halfway feel so sian.. cuz like cold cold.. sianz..
The next day. I went to be Superman. S$6 only. haha. i decided to give it a try, looks scary, but must try, else like never accomplish anything except the Cyclone. haha. But in the end, this superman thingy ok only, i feel Cyclone more scary. Superman one, only when i at the top, before the roll down start, i was abit scared. But after that ok lor, fly here fly there, turn 360, but not v scary la. abit like dun know wats happening one. Okay.. finally, itz check out time..
The weather was super good that day, Bluse sky, no clouds, very nice. I took alot of photos of the theme park from outside after breakfast. We bought the bus tickets down to KL from Genting. The tickets are quite cheap, but.. the bus hor. hot and smelly.. i can actually smell traces of urine. Overall, hot and smelly trip down to KL. When we finally reached the stop at KL, we went to the "LRT" nearby and was told that the station nearest KLCC is Bukit Nanas. The LRT super squeezy.. and reaching Bukit Nanas, we can see KLCC, but.. where is Impiana Hotel? Walk walk walk.. under hot sun.. lots of construction... walk walk.. ask ppl.. ask police.. they keep saying go there go here.. and we keep thinking reaching already, but, still not reach, was really gg crazy liao. cuz the fact that we know we are in the right course doesnt really help much when the target dun seem anywhere near..
Finally.. finally.. we found the hotel.. itz was really nirvana.. heaven.. the staff inside really really nice.. they fuwu mian jin (give towels) to us... then give very nice cold lemon tea.. bring tears to my eyes... so touched. cuz we like came in from the hot sun.. dusty roads.. then come into hotel got ppl give towel give tea.. this is really touching.. The best part is here... checking into the room.. super .. super big!!! WAHH!!! ARGG!! Cuz we got the spa package, the room was upgraded, and itz really nice. I mean it was the kind of room u would wanna go back to.. unlike in First World.. The package is very good. I repeatedly tell ap that itz really a good catch. Like include a 90min spa for 2, then get this kinda room. They even send fruits up to the room.. sob sob.. super touched.. The spa was very good also. but abit awkward la.. haha..
Having been to KL twice for work, i know of how to go to a few places, so we walked to Berjaya Times Square. Halfway thru some other memories start coming back.. like pieces of jigsaw, i remembered... an IT Mall!.. like.. like funan! yes! inside ... inside.. got... VEGE food!! yes... upstairs.. so we walked to the IT mall Low Yat Plaza.. go up up and up.. then in the end, actually the food stuff at basement.. ok.. the flashback wasnt tat complete, but at least the part that there is vege food is correct. So we had a great vege meal there, then we went to Times Sq. Shop shop, look at the scary indoor theme park's coaster.. then after that, we plan to walk back to KLCC. Halfway thru, we spotted this big mall "The Pavilion" with a big xmas tree, so decide to go there, then from the go to KLCC. Pavilion is very big, but no time to shop, and quite tired liao also. So drag ourselves to KLCC, to see the night twin towers, at night they look specially nice. Took lots of photos, but the shops inside most closed liao, so after that, we went back to hotel which was 10mins walk from KLCC.
Morning, had a nice breakfast at the cafe in the hotel, then we had a short walk to KLCC again to shoot some day photos. When coming back, noticed a big mural thingy, itz actually a big picture made from F&N cans. Quite cool. Back in the hotel, i went swimming, then went to the gym a short while. After that, checked out from the very luxurious hotel. Left our stuff at the bell counter then went to KLCC to really shop. Bought nothing, but jus see see look look.. went to a cafe to drink something, i drank a double expresso. Super small cup, as usual.
After that, we took cab from hotel to the bus interchange.. my worse experience.. it was quite chaotic there.. and i dun know where to find our bus, and dun know where is the counter.. itz find bus direct or? wah.. panic abit man, asked an old man and he say :" u got ticket liao jus board the bus la!" then i try to find row 20, go down see if bus is there not, but no.. dun look like our bus.. so went up again.. alot of ppl.. Luckily, we asked one auntie who advised us correctly, we noticed inbetween the lots of small counters is the FiveStar counter.. check in from there.. in the bus also alot of issue.. angry women came up. Cuz i think she and her family late.. then the staff there sold off their tickets and oversell, so in the end, lack of one seat.. so she like very angry.. talk loudly.. call to complain.. haha. half way thru the journey, they were transfered to another bus. so end of story..
OKAY!! End of the Genting KL Trip!! Overall, not bad, fun, nice, not very expensive.
