Time Passes

Time really passes. Not talking abt years la.. ha. jus that really, Monday Tues Wed Thurs Fri Sat Sun.. comes and goes.. Tomorrow is wed again liao.

Hmm.. i might post this tomorrow also.

生涯s

My right hand wrist is getting the mouse syndrome. When ever i touch the mouse, or keyboard, i get this uncomfortable "feeling" at my right wrist. If this worsen, i think i have a few 生涯s at stake:

1. Design 生涯
2. Photography 生涯
3. Guitar 生涯 - actually this 生涯 never really started
4. Basketball 生涯 - hmm. i think this ended when i was in poly..

I hope my coming taiwan trip will cure this mouse syndrome. Otherwise, with so many 生涯s at stake, my future will 跌入谷底...

A Trip

That day, my sis brought back a brochure and showed it to me and mum. It was about a trip to Mars (outerspace). It was actually a company trip, which is free of charge. They get to tour Mars and also look at space.

I was actually worried, itz like i think it might be dangerous. But I thought i already got the chance to hv a trip to outerspace the other time, and it was really an experience and I thought since this is a company trip, then sis should go for it.

Hmm.. did i go outerspace in a shuttle b4? I think I did leh, I still hv the photos and also memories of what i saw. I was gg to find the photos to refresh my memories.

Then I opened my eyes. Hmm.. a dream? But I think i did go to outerspace b4 right? Hmm... i sat on my bed, thinking hard. Yes leh.. the memories are still intact. Has to be mah, still hv photos leh...

As usual, i went to kitchen, filled a cup of water, sat down, and kept thinking.

Wah lao.. jus a dream la. But strange thing is, in this dream, i had memories that i been to outerspace b4, and itz like real. haha

My guess is I dreamed of the previous experience b4, but did not remember hving this dream, until that night, the 2 dreams sort of linked together. I thought this is really interesting. haha. Or maybe i was dreaming of the future.

Creative

Was watching Idol with my mum jus now (yes, San Sao, she happen to be sitting down, yup, and she watched the Phantom of The Opera last night, yes, Ch5, not CH8) and this old singer was guiding the idol wannabes, and this Lil was singing, and, the old singer gives a comment "Lil is a women who can sing a phone book!". Booboo thinks this is a very nice and creative comment! Dun u think so? Yup, so next time if someone tells u u sound like u can sing a phonebook, remember itz a compliment..

And.. i jus saw Paula with a moustache drawn by Simon.. hmm.. very creative again..

What it should have been

Ok, eating inbetween breakfast and lunch is commonly known as "brunch". Agreed? So what should the word be for eating between lunch and dinner?

I use to call it "luncher", but, yesterday me and gy were having a serious discussion on this. We came up with 2 possibilities.

1. Liner (as in Lee-ner)
2. Dinch (as in Din-inch)

Personally i will be going for number 1. And it makes more sense anyway. Lets standardise on this. Let me know yr preference and from there, we use the same word..

Btw, recording in Booboo Studios is really a pain in the ass. Not easy.. to cut down on noise, i had to close doors, off hps, hang phones, close windows, off fans..

Went thru a few rounds of recording.. cuz never pratice enough b4 that, and halfway thru, sing wrong words ah, miss a beat ah.. wah.. super sianz. Almost gave up. haha

This song very nice, i think it is only fair if u watched the nice nice original by Jacky also. I watched the movie on a bus trip to KL, and i finished it at like 5am, when this song came out near the end of the story, my bus reached KL city, then the music came out, the bright KL city lights appeared.. wah.. i will never forget this man, the timing so nice and so good, and 5am.. feeling very good. haha..

Problems, either he finds you, or you find him

At the age of 30, i start to feel that human beings like to look for problems when there is none on hand.

In Singapore, most of us has no problems with our daily needs. Working adults like me, we earn, we spend, we eat with no worries. When family is ok, work is ok, health is ok, or even relationship is ok, what happens? He/She might just start to look for problems.

Say, start to feel that career is stagnant... no meaning.. everyday do the same thing..

Start to feel money earned is not enough, that he is doing more work compared to a fellow colleague who is drawing more pay than himself.

Start to feel she dun look better than a colleague in terms of appearance, figure, hair, nose, of anything.

Those with no relationship feels depressed, lonely, no one to go out with, no one to celebrate Valentines Day.

Those in a relationship might feel the same way, start to find problems with their relationship, with their partner, thinking he/she might feel more happy with someone else, feeling relationship is stagnant. Feel tied to the ground, feels she dun hv enough of her own time.

Okay, with all/some of the above problems, he start to try to solve them. After a problem is solved, say he found a new job, a new goal, say he breaks off with his gf, he starts to feel better, but, after sometime, either a problem finds him, or, he finds another problem, maybe this time with his family.

When i watch the news, showing ppl in Iraq, in Afica, or in say a poor area in Thailand, where ppl catch fish for living, i think they might have problems with their basic needs. Therefore, they have no time to find new problems. I doubt they will feel their job is stagnant, no challenge, pay no good, welfare lousy, no bonus, not enough leave per year etc. As long as they earn enough to buy food and provide shelther for their family, i think they are more than contented.

So what's the problem here with us? Yes, we are too blessed with good stuff. We should hv nothing to worry liao (unless genuine family/health problems). But itz because we hv nothing to worry liao that we start to find problems with our life.

And yes, some of the mentioned problems might be for a better improved life, say better jobs, higher pay etc. Therefore, there are good problems, there are bad problems, and there are these bo liao nothing better to do go find a problem kind of problems.

So the next time say an Ah Beng approaches you and say:"Whey, u looking for problem itz!??" maybe u can reply him "Yes, how u know?", or, do a reflection on whether you've been really looking for problems with yr own life.

House Calls at Night....

Have u ever had these experiences?

Receiving calls at night? When u are alone? At the other end, is the voice of a small boy.. the small boy will ask : "Hi... I am looking for Dylan.." OR, "Hello.... I am looking for Daven"

Have u?

Hahah.. yeah, i love receiving these calls. And i will tell the small boy over at the other end :" Can I know who are u?" The small boy will say: "I am Bryan" OR "I am Maverick". Then I will tell him:" Dylan(Daven) is not here... he is at his own home.. can u leave yr number?" "Yes.. 67XXXXXX" (numbers are X-ed off to protect the boys from p****iles). "Ok, I will get him to call u back then, bye bye"

Yeah, tonight i received 2 calls. One for Dylan, one for Daven. So fun... hahaa.. somemore the number for Maverick is wrong... hahah.. so Dylan could not reach him back. Sorry Maverick, guess u hv to talk to Dylan only tomorrow..

Ok, if u like to receive these calls, make yr sister or brother get married, give birth to a child or 2, your mum has to take care of them in the day of course. Then, wait for 7-9 years.

U will start receiving these calls at night..

I was chatting with Dylan jus now over dinner, i asked him who is his best friend.. who are his friends, so as usual, his best friend is the indian boy Jagen. Then i asked him who he sit with in class, he says they are made to sit with gals in class so that they dun talk so much, i agreed with this policy. Then i asked him who he sits with then? He says he dun know, i say cannot be, he says cuz he dun talk to that gal, i say cannot be la.. sure got talk one.. before class, after recess, etc.. he insisted, i thought he shy so i anyhow say, "is her name Si Min? Wendy... ", and guess what? he says yes, it use to be Si Min sitting beside him but cuz both of them talk too much so his teacher decided to change Si Min to other places. Sim Si Min.

Hmm... I anyhow hum tum.. also can get the correct name..

What a Fish!

Fish Leong.. if 如果有一天 you have the 勇气 and you become 第三者 will you 接受 that you are still 甜甜的 and your 亲亲 will still be 暖暖? Do you know that fishes are like 会呼吸的痛 and they 爱你不是两三天 and I tell you, 不是我不明白, it's because I 崇拜 you so much that I will 无条件为你 do anything and even if I can tell my friend that 分手is快乐, he also might 听不到 one... BTW, tell u, this April I might pass by 宁夏 again just like 3 years back when i in taiwan reservice i also passby.. haha.. I 最想环游的世界 is not yours la.. dun worry..
