Super YOYO!!

Me and my bro wanted to buy yoyos for the boys. But my bro bought one first for dylan. So as expected, Dave keep asking Dylan to let him play, and dylan dun wan and so on and so forth.

Initially wanted to buy it the next day, but since my Ah Gu (who visited us last evening)went home earlier then i expected, i decided to drop by Tampines Mall after I drop them at simei.

When i reach TM, i found that all 3 shops dun hv the super yoyo that Daven wans. Only hv other models. The shop assistants there told me stock should come soon. Not wanting to disappoint the boy, i decided to run for it. I went to Century Sq, and lucky enough, i got it in Kiddy Palace.

Daven was waiting for me at home (his bro and sis and dad went home liao). From ap, she said that Dave was gg crazy waiting for me to come back. Keep saying "when is ah gu gg to come home..."

I decided to take a video on my way up, so above is the video i too. haha. the boy was cute. I disturb him by saying i got the Gal version of the super yoyo. When i got into the house, the yoyo was in my pocket so he dun know where it is.

First Studio Experience, First Big Laugh

Today went to studio with ap's family. First time there, was raining this morning when we reach Serangoon Broadway, had breakfast with ap in the old kopi tiam (abit like my old house kopi tiam).

The experience was good, but i think the price quite expensive. Jus now i was talkin to mum and i realise that they(we) could hv choosen another stuido who might charge lower and maybe give us the softcopy also. But of course this one is bec Ah Hia already paid deposit few yrs back, and also i think they are much more pro too. I like the part where 5 of then taking family portrait, and i was standing at the photographers area. they look like what is gg to be appearing in the final print from my angle. haha.

Was down with flu today, but we were still dragging around suntec the whole noon. haha. really draggin, then walk to millieun walk there, harbi normal, at the bed area, i was talking some nonesense abt the bed frames, then ap mimicked some chipmucks voices, which, for the first time (that i can remember) in this 5-6 yrs, she made me laugh till my stomach pain (cuz of yesterdays sit ups too). Quite embarrasing actually cuz the sales man was behind us when i laughed.

HEEEEE HHOOOORRRRR, HEEEEEE, HOOORRRR

It is the time of the year again, for HEEE hEEE HORS HORRS HEEEE...

went to take my IPPT test for the year this morning. Time flies... last year run till 4th round rain.. they cancel and say either we wait for rain to stop then continue the test, or can come back another day. Erm.. "continue the test" meaning run again from round one. - -" crazy la.

anyway, this year on ming hui's reccomendation, i went to maju, shelthered 2.4km run. and true enough, it rained there this morning.

anyway, was feeling anxious before the run, and tummy also dun feel good, keep thinking die liao. I started running the first round and for the first half of the first round, i was really thinking die liao, cuz like dun feel very good. Lucky things got better, and i saw i used 1.40min for the first round so i saw this ray of light coming from the side of the morning sky.

2nd round... 3rd round... the HEESSS HEEEE HOORRRs starts. but i dun care. To pass this stupid test, i cannot think of saving face. Even if the ppl whom i cut or cut me hears me HEE HORR, i also dun care.

Managed to finish the stupid run at 12:30min.

Sports Day

Today is sports day.

Last night lagi funny, maybe is the tireness from weekend's investfair, i took at nap at 9pm, then sleep all the way till 130am. wake up blir blur thought wat happen.. then went to sleep again after replying ap's sms.

This morning wake up at 8am, then go jog at 830am to train for ippt. after that, went to find dylan and dave. I saw dylan downstairs as he was on the way to my house, then i ride him back to his house, on the way, we discuss where to eat breakfast. "So where u wanna eat?" he asked me. I replied" what abt u? where u wanna eat?" " i dun know, i ask u first, i anything"

Hhaa.. then we went to find the sleeping dave, and woke him up. then we decided to go Tampines mart eat.

After breakfast, the boys came home and mum was sewing something, and the 2 boys were chatting with her abt sewing, i feel so cute, they chatting with my mum.. and they like to find things to argue also. hah..

I nap awhile after bath, and when wake, feel sleepy and lazy still. so thought won go gym or swim liao. But, after lunch, i feel energy back again, so decide i will still go. Dylan ask me bring him to gym (he on mc after stomach flu) i said no la.. children cannot go gym.. he keep saying "Ah gu.. i dun wan you to go out.. i wan you to stay home with me..." Dave last night ask me :"you gg out again right! i know that! always go out!" i say" I go ut in the afternon mah! anyway u will be in school what!" he say" WHAT I MEAN IS THEN U CANNOT BRING ME BACK FROM SCHOOL LIAO!" , my mum say"so loud for what huh!"

So in the end, itz sports day. I went swim, then went gym. Morning is jog. wow.

Then after that went hans eat egge sandwich. Then went meet ap and sis to visit hotel ballroom for ball games next yr. Be prepared for an invitation card lo.. haha..

Humble the wrong way

One night i was at sis house, Dave ask me to draw him a Speed Racer. He fetch his dad's model of a speed racer and also a small piece of paper. I saw the car and thought it was not very easy cuz alot of curves and stuff.

So i started sketching it, and halfway thru, Dave saw that the car is forming, he was very excied, "Au gu, u are the best drawer in the world! U can be art teacher already! "

Haha. Knowing where I stand in the real world, i told him thats not true, I am jus okay, i cannot be art teacher cuz you have to be very good to be art teacher.

to my surpirse, he replied "Ah gu, why you always like tat one? U always say u are not good when u are very good!"

Actually I know I have this problem, but itz funny that such analogy come out from a 7 yr old boy. haha..

Alot of times ppl come comment abt my work "Eh, not bad leh, very nice." I will say "ok only la.. i seen much better ones.." or " no la.. i not pro la.. still early.."

My superior commented once that he think i should be able to do better if i am in a position of my other superior, and i frankly told him that i dun think so plus i thought that other person is already doing fine, i cannot do better.

hahaha.. I think maybe bec i hv not desire to climb up the corporate ladder.

I have always been a perfectionist the wrong way, haha. Perfectionist make sure the things they do is perfect; I stop doing the thing that I know is not gg to be perfect. I think alot of ppl have the same problem; Stopping too early, even before they try hard enough.

Being humble is one thing, but being humble in a wrong way and u might end up not improving when u can.

Finally, after 3 years of hard work, ap graduated..

I never see anyone as hardworking. Now ap can rest and relax and surf net.
